Group Dog Training Classes

Recommended by veterinarians and fellow trainers alike, my training methods are non-aversive, positive reinforcement based on behavior modification and the science of how dogs learn – by association and consequence (classical and operant conditioning). These techniques give dog owners the skill and knowledge to enjoy a long, satisfying relationship with their canine companions. I have worked with hundreds of dogs and all breeds, and tailor individual training programs to you and your dog’s specific needs.

Intro to K9 Nose Work®

Canine Nose Work Classes in Atlanta

K9 Nose Work® is the search and scenting activity that’s sweeping the nation! Virtually all dogs can enjoy this fun search and scenting activity where you work as a team and learn how to communicate to find hidden target odors such as birch, anise and clove. Approved by the National Association of Canine Scent Work (NACSW), this class will truly bring out the best in your dog and bring you closer in ways no other dog sport can. Every dog has natural abilities to succeed and have fun with K9 Nose Work, so no prior training is required.

Dogs find success early: high energy dogs burn calories as they race around; fearful dogs build confidence; reactive dogs finds focus, and aging or disabled dogs flex their brain muscles as they puzzle out the search at their own pace. There’s something for everyone!
